Information you give us

When you complete an enquiry, quote or callback form, or contact us by phone or email, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, the type of pest or problem you need help with, the type of property, how urgently you need us, and any other details you choose to include in your message.

Information we collect automatically

How we use your information, and our lawful basis

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange or carry out pest control work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and the performance of that contract.
  • To confirm your booking and keep in touch about the service. This may include an automatic email confirming we have received your enquiry.
  • To run, protect and improve our business and website, including keeping records, preventing spam and fraud, and understanding how our site is used. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in operating efficiently and securely.
  • To send you marketing, only where you have given us consent. You can withdraw your consent and opt out at any time.
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as tax, accounting and health and safety record keeping. Our lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, with:

  • Our staff and pest control technicians who arrange and carry out your work.
  • Trusted service providers who help us run our business and website on our behalf under contract, such as our customer enquiry and booking systems, our email and communications providers, our website hosting and our IT support.
  • Analytics and advertising partners, such as Google, where you have consented to non-essential cookies, so we can measure and improve our marketing.
  • Trustpilot, our independent review platform, if you choose to leave a review. Trustpilot handles that information under its own privacy policy.
  • Other organisations where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

Sending data outside the UK

Some of our service providers, such as Google, may process data on servers outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses, so your information remains protected.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it. Customer and job records are generally kept for up to six years after our last dealing with you, to meet contractual, tax and legal requirements, after which they are securely deleted or made anonymous. Enquiries that do not lead to a job are kept for a shorter period and then deleted.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to those who need it to do their job.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;

Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
